Internet Explorer Is Done In 2022
It’s been in use for more than 25 years, but next year, Microsoft is finally retiring Internet Explorer. The aging web browser has largely been unused by most consumers for years, but Microsoft is putting the final nail in the Internet Explorer coffin in June, 2022.
We’ve been reporting on this for a while, but Microsoft finally set a date for the end of Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer use has been waning for years and this change should not affect our credit union websites very much. Checking traffic statistics today, I see that Internet Explorer accounts for 2.3% of all traffic for the last year. It’s not nothing, but its not very much in the big picture.
